Our Philosophy

At PV Elite, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all training. Our approach is rooted in structure, adaptability, and results. Whether we’re working with a beginner or a future pro, the goal is the same: minimize weaknesses, maximize potential, and build athletes that are strong, durable, and ready for the demands of the game.

We don’t just push athletes — we guide them with intent, purpose, and long-term vision.

Who We Train

    1-on-1 Training

    Fully individualized coaching built around your goals.

    Shared sessions for athletes looking to push each other and progress together.

    Structured, periodized team programming for off-ice development.

    Program-Only

    For remote athletes or those with their own gym access.

Our Facility

We’re proud to operate out of our own private training space the — Mitch Dyck Performance Centre — located in Winkler, MB. With access to top-tier equipment, a controlled environment, and seamless integration with our on-ice development model, athletes can train year-round without distractions.

Mitch Dyck

Head of Off Ice Development

Mitch leads PV Elite’s off-ice programming with a mission to build stronger, faster, and more durable athletes — on and off the ice. His training philosophy is simple but powerful: “Minimize weaknesses. Maximize the physiological demands of your goals.”

With over five years of coaching experience and a decorated hockey background of his own, Mitch brings a blend of elite knowledge and local roots to every session.

Credentials:

  • B.A. in Kinesiology

  • NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

  • Precision Nutrition PN1 Certified

  • 5+ years of coaching experience

Playing Career:

  • Pembina Valley Hawks (AAA)

  • Winkler Flyers (Junior A)

  • University of Manitoba (U Sports)

  • Professional Hockey (AIHL)


Whether he’s training 1-on-1 or leading full teams, Mitch brings professionalism, intensity, and care to every athlete that walks through the door.
