Pv elite high performance program

The PV Elite High Performance Summer Program is built for athletes committed to structured development, accountability, and meaningful improvement throughout the off-season. Giving players to elite resources all tailored toward development:

  • On-ice skill development sessions

  • Games (age-group dependent)

  • Strength Training (Mitch Dyck Performance Centre)

  • Shot Analysis at PV Elite Shooting Lab

  • Mental Performance Coaching

  • Speed Coaching (Glenn Bruce)

Programming is designed to reflect the demands of higher-level hockey, emphasizing pace, execution, decision-making, and habits that translate directly to game play.

Registration Structure

The PV Elite High Performance Programs are offered across three levels, each providing a different volume of training and access based on program design.

Mitch Dyck Performance Centre

New for 2026, PV Elite athletes will have the opportunity to train through the Mitch Dyck Performance Centre (MDPC), powered by PV Elite. Pembina Valley’s first hockey-specific gym located in Winkler, the facility brings high-performance off-ice training directly into the PV Elite development model.

Intentional strength and conditioning, movement development, and integrated mentorship, MDPC provides a consistent, professional training experience that complements on-ice work and supports long-term growth.

PV Elite’s 2026 expansion introduces a dedicated speed and track component designed to build acceleration, power, and movement efficiency from the ground up, not conditioning laps or generic dry-land.

The goal is simple: Create faster athletes, not just harder-working ones.

To lead this layer, PV Elite has partnered with Glenn Bruce, a sprint and speed performance coach with over 40 years of experience. Glenn’s coaching is built on intentional mechanics, movement quality, and transferable athletic speed that translate to the demands of modern hockey.

He has worked with high-level athletes across the NFL, NHL, CFL, AHL, WHL, and NCAA. Including Manitoba-native Seth Jarvis of the Carolina Hurricanes, and now plans to integrate his methodology into the PV Elite Development Model

mental performance coaching

PV Elite skaters will have access to 4 group mental performance coaching sessions throughout the summer with PV Elite Mental Performance Coach Jack Lotscher. Jack is a certified sport psychology practitioner accredited through the Canadian Sport Psychology Association (CSPA) and specializes in working with elite hockey players.

He brings a unique combination of professional expertise and firsthand experience as a former hockey player into every session, helping athletes develop the mindset, confidence, and habits required to perform at their best.

PV Elite Shooting lab

New to 2025 is PV Elite Shooting Lab. “Shooting Lab” is an opportunity for PV Elite athletes to get more puck touches, feedback, and stop ripping pucks at your garage door.

Grab unlimited access through High Performance+ to come shoot whenever you want, or book a shooting analysis to work your game 1-on-1 with a PV Elite coach or with your buddies in a group setting.
